"Directink proudly produces superior quality work, with attention to every detail. Full color printing
used to be reserved for the few "big" clients with very big budgets. If it needed quick turnaround, the term
"RUSH SERVICE EXTRA" would be included over and over again."

How to Set Up Files for Direct Image Printing
Continuous tone images should be 300dpi
Line art images should be 1200dpi
Color mode CMYK (no RGB)
Except when using a 5th color, specify PMS or varnish
Fill all Tiff and Scitex CT Picture Boxes with white
Please do not JPEG or LZW compress any files
Draw silhouettes with Pen Tool, NOT Magic Wand tool
Please supply us with the page layout document, ex. Quark Express, Pagemaker, etc.
Supply all supporting art files, ex. Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. We recommend all supporting art is saved as
EPS or TIFF file formats. Most art files print best in CMYK color mode, unless greyscale is required. RGB is
not accepted. We can also accept a hi resolution PDF, however, we do ask that you provide the native file with all attached artwork, fonts, etc.
Microsoft Office Products (Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) can be used for output for color copies, some of our digital presses
and for mailing labels. However, Directink's offset presses cannot print directly from these applications. Directink
will gladly provide a quote to re-layout your project in an application such as Quark to get your files press
ready. Please contact your sales representative or our friendly customer service center if you have any questions
regarding your file set up.
